FINANCIAL ANALYST (2)
LOCATION:
Houston, TX (Clear Lake)

JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking two (02) Financial
Analyst to support the analysis, strategy and formation of cost and pricing
methodologies and models for NASA Contracts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
§
Possess
excellent analytical skills and ability to perform various analyses
§
Have good
working knowledge of forecasting and budgeting
§
Hold in-depth
understanding of cost allocations and indirect rate formation - FAR Part 15,
Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
§
Experience
working with multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Reimbursable)
§
Understanding
of Service Contract Act pricing provisions
§
Apply
principles of earned value management
§
Perform
contract change management activities
§
Perform other
duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS:
§
Expert ability
and use of Microsoft Office Suite
§
Working
Knowledge of Essbase by Hyperion is a plus
§
Work
independently or with a team and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
§
Have excellent
communication skills and work well with all levels of management
§
Provide
leadership to others by example and sharing of knowledge and skills
EDUCATION AND WORK
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting or Finance. MBA preferred on advanced level positions. Must have a
minimum of four (4) years working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and/or the Defense
Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
