Job Description:
Manages shared contracts support for Radar Sensor Systems (RSS)-Other
production, development, and sustainment. Reviews and interprets RFPs; develops,
reviews, and coordinates competitive and sole source proposals; negotiates,
administers, and closes out contracts and teaming agreements; dispositions
multifaceted contract/program agreement issues with program team members and the
US Government. Ensures contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with
company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR and DFAR.
Advises program management and IPT leads regarding contractual requirements,
rights, and obligations; performs risk assessment of proposal/contract terms and
conditions; formulates and executes strategies to mitigate contractual and
program risks. Supports program business area goals and front-end strategic
assessment of business pursuits; partners with customers, management, program
teams, and IPTs to resolve issues, secure approvals, and ensure successful
contract execution. Travels to customer sites and other locations as required.
Will initially support RSS-Other as a senior individual contributor; may
subsequently provide leadership to a future contracts team within RSS-Other.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and other locations as required
• (Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in contracts, procurement,
finance, and/or program management) OR (Master’s degree and 8+ years of
experience in contracts, procurement, finance, and/or program management)
• Experience to include all of the following:
• Reviewing and interpreting RFPs
• Developing, reviewing, and coordinating competitive and sole source proposals
• Negotiating, administering, and closing out contracts and teaming agreements
• Ensuring contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company
policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR and DFAR
• Providing strategic team leadership
